River North Workshop Co. is an open workshop/retail store, crafting and sourcing locally made homewares. We are located in a beautiful old warehouse, part of the Backyard on Blake development in Denver’s River North creative district “RiNo”.
We believe that the goods in our homes can and should be made locally and with care. We collaborate with small batch artists and makers, and thrive on getting to know the face and personality behind each product.
We host workshops and events in our space and teach furniture painting classes using Miss Mustard Seed’s gorgeous, all natural, zero VOC, eco friendly, Milk Paint.
Stop in and say hello! We can’t wait to meet you. To learn more about the RiNo neighborhood, go to: www.rivernorthart.com/about-rino
I’m an idea girl who finds inspiration all around me. I’m a creator, crafter, and collaborator.
Inspired by the simple things around me, I’ve transformed my love for creating into a business that specializes in locally made homewares.
I thrive on building relationships with the makers in our community and love bringing incredible people together.
When I’m not in the shop, I’m typically home with my husband, two dogs, and cat.
I love creating things with my hands and take great satisfaction seeing new and beautiful things come to exist.
My favorite places are in the garden, in the kitchen, and in the workshop. The idea that with a little hard work and ingenuity you can make something beautiful and share it with others is beyond rewarding to me. And to find ways to help others re-use the things they already have, and once loved, and do it all while supporting the community in every way – employment, investment, reducing impact – is incredibly exciting.
I am so excited that Alicia and I get to bring these things together in River North Workshop Co!
I’ve been a shop girl since I worked in retail in college, where I fell in love with the community a small business creates. I am so excited to be part of the team at River North Workshop and the collaboration that happens here.
